National carrier TUNISAIR suffered a net loss of about 336.7 million dinars in 2020, against a deficit of 18.9 million in 2019, according to the report on state enterprises annexed to the Finance Act 2022.
The document issued by the Ministry of Finance estimates that the record loss in 2020 is the result of the sharp decline in the company’s operating income by 281.6 million dinars compared to 2019, following the fall in revenue by more than 1.2 billion dinars.
TUNISAIR, which is listed on the Tunis Stock Exchange, has not yet published its audited financial statements relating to the 2018 fiscal year.
