Four hundred and forty (440) start-up labels and 281 pre-labels have been awarded by the Start-up College, on a total of 1206 applications received until February 9, 2022, Startup Tunisia announced on Thursday.
These labels were granted in the context of an exceptionally accelerated edition, the same source said.
Startup Tunisia saluted the outgoing members of the start-up college who have “worked hard and voluntarily, every month, to study the applications of startups and grant the Startup Label.
The national program “Start-up Tunisia” aims to make Tunisia a privileged regional destination and a national incentive site for the creation and attraction of start-ups. It is part of the Digital Tunisia strategy.
This strategy aims to promote Tunisia as a hub for startups in the southern Mediterranean region, the Arab world and the African continent.
