Six industrial companies entered production in Gabes in 2016, according to a report from the Industry Promotion Agency (API).
These companies, created with investments exceeding 30 MTD, have generated 98 jobs in industries related to the phosphate, cement and furniture sectors, added the same document.
In addition, the API office in Gabes last year registered 280 investment intentions in industry-related activities (74) and services (206).
These projects, which will be realized with investments of nearly 878 MTD, would provide more than 1,750 jobs.
