Tunisia: 90 young people to be trained in development of Business Plans

In the context of the project “accelerated job creation and support for entrepreneurship,” the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), in partnership with the Office for the Development of the South and with the support of the Japanese Government, the second phase of the program “Ennajjah Machrouii” has been launched with the training of 90 young promoters in the development of Business Plans for their projects in the governorates of Medenine and Tataouine.

Following a selection process conducted by technical committees in February 2015, involving public and private actors in the region, and based on the relevance and quality of the proposed project ideas, these young people will benefit of a capacity building process for six weeks from April 20 to June 5, 2015.

This training program is implemented by the project team in partnership with a training firm and public and private coaches trained by the project.

After training and coaching, at least 24 young people among the selected candidates will be able to receive support and financial support of up to twenty-five thousand dinars (25,000 TND) non repayable per project.
