Tunisia: “ACTIA” plans to invest 22 MTD in electronic industries

 “ACTIA” Group plans to carry out new projects in Tunisia in the field of electronic industries with a budget of 22 million dinars that will generate nearly 100 jobs for university graduates, said Minister of Industry Zakaria Hamad.
 
At his recent meeting in Tunis with founder and President of the Group Supervisory Board, Louis Pech, its Management Board Chairman, Jean-Louis Pech, the head of three units based in Tunisia, (ACTIA, CIPI and ARDIA Tunisia), Hsouna Fatnassi and CEO of ARDIA, Walid Rouiss, the minister said the Industry Department will provide support to these high-level innovating and high-tech projects.
 
He, on this occasion, gave an overview of the investment climate in Tunisia and the opportunities offered for the creation of projects in the country, according to a press release from the Ministry of Industry.
 
Mr. Pech said, for his part, the Tunisian state’s policy in foreign investment has encouraged them to invest more and make expansions in Tunisia .
 
While recalling that the three companies based in Tunisia provide 1,150 jobs, including 350 for engineers, he commended the Tunisian skills in this field.
 
ACTIA is an international group from Toulouse , specialising in embedded electronic systems with high added value dedicated to vehicle and telecommunications markets.
