The number of projects approved by the Bank for Financing Small and Medium Enterprises (BFPME) has reached since its inception and until 31 March 2012, 1,837 projects with 1576 new projects and 261 extensions.
According to available figures, the overall cost of the investment is estimated at 373.3 million dinars to which the bank has contributed by 404.4 million dinars. These projects are expected to generate about 36,942 employment positions.
