The global turnover of “BH Assurance” Company amounted to 67.8 million dinars, at the end of the first half of the current year, against 65.2 million during the same period of 2019, i.e. a growth of 4%.
The performance is confirmed in Non Life insurance which shows a turnover of 44 million dinars against 39.8 million at the end of June 2019, i.e. a 10.7% rise.
Life insurance posted a turnover of 23.7 million dinars against 25.4 million a year earlier.
It was impacted by the decline in loan insurance subscriptions during this first half year.
Ceded premiums amounted to 19.4 million dinars against 18.3 million dinars on June 30, 2019, i.e. a growth of 6.2%.
On its part, the cost of claims totaled 29.9 million dinars, against 26.4 million dinars on June 30, 2019, up 13.5%.
Investment income increased by 19% compared to the same period in 2019.
