Tunisia: BNA reports 2.5% growth in NBI

Customer loans of the “Banque Nationale Agricole” (BNA) reached 6.137 million Tunisian dinars (MTD) to March 31, 2012 compared with 5.510 MTD to March 31, 2011, thus registering an increase of 11.4%.

Customer deposits posted a decrease of 25 million dinars between March 2011 and March 2012, representing a slight decline of 0.5%.

The Net Banking Income (NBI) reached 108 million dinars to March 31, 2012 against 105 MTD to March 31, 2011, up 2.6 million dinars, i.e. a growth rate of 2.5%.

Operating expenses have, however, recorded a decrease of 5.6 million dinars, or a regression rate of 12.7%.
