Tunisia: BNA sees 29.4% increase in NBI at end September to 399 million dinars

The business indicators of the “Banque Nationale Agricole” (BNA) for the third quarter of the current year show an increase in customer loans by 11.3% totaling 9.4 billion dinars at September 30, 2018 against 8.4 billion at same period the previous year.

Customer deposits between September 2017 and September 2018 went up 427 million dinars to 7.5 billion dinars, i.e. a growth rate of 6%.

Bank operating income reached 773 million dinars on September 30, 2018 against 575 million dinars on the same period in 2017, recording an increase of 198 million dinars, i.e. a growth rate of 34.5%.

Bank operating expenses also increased by 108 million dinars, from 267 million dinars at September 30, 2017 to 375 million dinars at the same period in 2018, i.e. a growth rate of 40.3 percent. %.

The net banking income was 399 million dinars on September 30, 2018 against 308 million dinars on September 30, 2017, up 29.4%.

Since the third quarter of 2017, BNA has maintained a sustained growth rate of more than 25% in net banking income per quarter.
