According to the 2014 annual report of the company “Carthage Cement,” the sector’s achievements published by the National Chamber of Cement Producers point to an improvement in the position of Carthage Cement at April 30, 2015 compared to 2014.
Indeed, local sales in Carthage Cement have increased by 44% and reached 349,823 tons in April 30, 2015 against 242,031 tons to April 30, 2014 (107,792 tonnes), despite the decline of the cement sector sales -6.69% (i.e. 177,500 tons).
Carthage Cement has also made performance in total sales (local + export) to 30 April 2015, reaching 420,923 tons against 308,045 tons in April 30, 2014, a quantitative rise of 112,878 tons (+ 36.64%) against a sector decrease -1.57%.
