Tunisia’s trade balance has recorded a clear improvement in 2015, Minister of Agriculture, Water Resources and Fisheries, Saad Seddik announced at a press conference on Tuesday in Tunis .
He, in the same context, said the food trade balance had recorded a deficit of about 1,380.5 million Tunisian dinars in 2014.
He added that the rate of coverage of imports by exports has also improved markedly, increasing from 60% in 2014 to 98% in 2015.
The volume of exports of food products also grew 78% compared to 2014.
