Tunisia: corruption costs public administration nearly 400 MTD per year

Corruption in the Tunisian public administration costs nearly 400 MTD per year, economic expert Mourad Hattab told African Manager on Wednesday.

He added that this is a scourge that affects the transparency of the administration and the government is expected to introduce tough measures against corrupt people, improving the financial position of public employees and encouraging citizens to report such practices.

Tunisian Association I Watch Tunisia had launched a new platform called “Billkamcha” aimed at combating all forms of corruption.
