Tunisia: FDIs down 26.4% at end of September 2020

Foreign direct investment in Tunisia fell by 26.4% at the end of the first nine months of the current year to 1506.6 million dinars (MD), compared to the same period in 2019, according to statistics from the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency (FIPA).

In foreign currency, these international investments stood in dollars at $ 531.3 million and in euros to €473 million, at the end of September 2020,

Portfolio investments (stock market investments) saw a decline of 68.1% compared to the same period of the previous year, to 47.7 MD, from nearly 150 MD in 2019.
