As part of cooperation for development with Tunisia , the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany has set up a grant fund for social projects by Tunisian associations.
With its micro-project financing funds locally, the Embassy is able to finance in a fast and flexible way associations’ projects that meet specific difficulties of the population and take into account the basic needs of poorest socio-economic groups in disadvantaged regions outside of Tunis.
To achieve this objective, the Embassy can finance, for example, the acquisition of goods (equipment) or construction works.
The micro-projects should be of common interest and have an immediate impact. Moreover, they must be carried out during the respective year. This fund aims to support civil society in Tunisia with a focus on women and youth.
