Tunisia, guest of honor at international social housing forum in Abidjan

Tunisia will be the guest of honor at the International Forum of Social, Economical and Upscale Housing (FILOSES) 2016 to be held in Abidjan (Cote d’Ivoire) from June 28 to 30, 2016.

This is an opportunity for Tunisian companies in the construction sector to develop their activities and forge new partnerships with operators in an Ivorian market with high demand, says “Classe Export Tunisia” which is organizing the Tunisian pavilion in FILOSES.

This is a forum that brings together the different building trades, under the auspices of the Ivorian Ministry of Housing and Social Housing.

This multidimensional event seeks to be an international platform for meetings and exchanges between the Ivorian operators and their international partners. The goal is to promote the development of housing in Cote d’Ivoire.

The program of social, economical and upscale housing initiated by the Ivorian government was officially launched on March 28, 2013. 6000 new dwellings were built from 2012 to 2015, for an estimated 400,000-home need, with a structural deficit of 65,000 dwellings per year.

The Ivorian government encourages licensed real estate developers to build social and economical houses, with the exemption of import tariffs for materials and construction materials.

During the three days of the forum, each exhibitor will have the opportunity to introduce himself and make known its products for the development of social housing projects in Côte d’Ivoire.

Classe Export Tunisia, a subsidiary of Group Class Export France, French media specializing in international trade information, aims to assist and accompany exporting companies in their international approach.
