Tunisia guest of honor of 2017 SIPSA-SIMA in Algiers

Tunisia is the guest of honor of the Livestock and Agri-Business Show (SIPSA-SIMA) scheduled for October 10-13 in Algiers, Algeria.

Some twenty national companies will take part in this 17th edition under the theme: “Issues for the development of integrated and inclusive agro business, or how to develop sustainable and competitive agri-food value chains.”

The goal behind this participation is to “increase the international visibility of Tunisian companies, build business ties and meet potential clients, distributors and partners to invest in one country or the other, for Tunisians in Algeria and vice versa and why not set out to conquer African markets together,” said the Agency for the Promotion of Agricultural Investment (APIA) which will assist these companies in the 2017 SIPSA-SIMA, in collaboration with the Agriculture, Water Resources and Fisheries Ministry,

“For this 2017 edition, SIPSA-SIMA has chosen Tunisia as guest of honor and will showcase the Tunisian agriculture, thereby demonstrating the vitality and wealth of fraternal and strategic relations between Tunisia and Algeria,” according to the show’s website.

Over 20,000 trade visitors and 600 exhibitors from 30 countries are expected this year, it added.
