Tunisia hosts 1st Forum of African Medical Tourism

Tunisia is hosting from March 28 and 29, 2014 the first African medical tourism forum “Tunisia Medical Tourism Forum.”

The forum will provide to participants and visitors unique opportunities to network with professionals in medical tourism.

Held in Medina – Yasmine-Hammamet and supposed to host over 2,000 visitors over two days, the event will include both a Forum and an Exhibition.

No less than 60 local and international participants will have the opportunity to present and promote their medical, paramedical, cosmetic, tourism and nutritional products … while enjoying unparalleled opportunities to establish contact with new potential business partners and discuss products and solutions related to the field of medical tourism.

The public will benefit from a number of privileges, including the opportunity to earn medical stays and thalassotherapy sessions.

The themes in the discussions include the state of medical tourism in Tunisia, marketing, certification and promotion, while the workshops will focus on topics as diverse as welfare, hydrotherapy, plastic surgery, ophthalmology, general surgery and laparoscopic bariatric, cosmetic medicine and cosmetic dermatology, dental surgery and implantology, oncology, orthopedics, rheumatology and urology.
