The first edition of the job fair “Job CONECT” opened on Tuesday in Tunis with the participation of 80 exhibiting companies offering more than 350 jobs.
“Companies participating in this event offer between 350 and 400 jobs for the unemployed or those seeking to enhance or change their career,” said the representative of the Executive Committee of the Confederation of Tunisian Citizen Enterprises (CONECT), the exhibition organizer, Nazeh Ben Ammar.
A web platform “jobconect.tn” was made available to young job seekers to facilitate “a direct, efficient and continuous connection” with the participating companies at the show which will run until Thursday, September 12.
More than 2000 young people have registered on the site “JOB CONECT” of the show which has recorded a high turnout.
The fair, to be held annually, aims to establish contact between job seekers and companies in different sectors.
