Tunisia’s population census began on Wednesday at 10:30 am and will continue until May 23, 2014.
Teams from the National Institute of Statistics (INS) kicked off the census at the municipality of Aouina.
More than 18,000 people, 90% of whom university graduates were recruited to gather demographic data under the direction of 4000 observers and 650 supervisors.
