Tunisia: MPBS’ revenues up 26.8% in Q3 2020

The turnover of the company “Manufacture De Panneaux Bois Du Sud” (MPBS) has risen by 26.8% to 14.7 million dinars (MD) in the third quarter of 2020, compared to the same period of 2019, while it had fallen by 29.7%, to 31.8 MD during the first three quarters.

The company also said in its financial statements, published Wednesday on the site of the Tunis Stock Exchange, that its long and medium term debt level has increased by 69%, partly to meet the needs of investment and also to cope with the financial hindrances caused by the coronavirus health crisis.

The cumulated tangible and intangible investments, made until September 30, 2020, amounted to 2.5 MD, mainly related to the construction works of the 2nd stage of the Thyna production site and the acquisition of the new press line of plated panels.

MPBS is specialized in the manufacture and finishing of a wide range of wooden panels and also offers machining and work services.
