Regional Delegate of Tourism in Mahdia, Mohssen Bousouffara predicted in a statement to Jawhra FM that the number of tourists who visit this area during September and October will decrease.
He explained this decrease by the decline in the German and Russian markets. That is why he urged hotel owners to improve the quality of services.
However, he noted that the occupancy rate in this tourist area during July and August last year has exceeded 100%. This is explained by the influx of around 80,000 tourists.
