Tunisia’s olive oil export revenues have increased by 54.1% from the beginning of the campaign until the end of August 2023, reaching almost TND 3 billion, according to the “figures of the month” note published on Monday by the National Observatory of Agriculture (ONAGRI).
In terms of volume, Tunisia’s olive oil exports fell by 2.3% to 175.7 thousand tonnes compared to the same period of the 2021-2022 campaign. ONAGRI pointed out that the average price recorded in the first ten months of the marketing year rose by 57.7% to 16.92 DT/kg, compared with 10.73 DT/kg in the same period last year.
