Tunisia: resumption of phosphate transport by rail

After an interruption of more than two months, the transport of phosphate by rail resumed Sunday on line 13 linking Tozeur to Sfax towards the station of the Skhira Chemical Group, reports Mosaïque FM.

Activity on this railway line has stopped since April 4 last year when young unemployed people seized a locomotive at the Meknassi station, in the governorate of Sidi Bouzid.

The sit-inneurs hope that the lifting of their protest movement will pave the way for an examination of their job applications as soon as possible.
