Investments on projects costing more than 5 million Tunisian dinars (MTD) posted an increase of 65.6% from 868.8 million dinars in the first six months of 2012 to 1,438.4 MTD during the same period in 2013.
The number of projects increased from 64 to 75 during the first six months 2013, up 17.2%.
These projects will create 8,500 jobs positions against 6,462 job positions in the first six months of 2012, i.e. an increase of 31.5%.
It should be noted that projects costing more than 5 MTD, which represent only 3.8% of the number of reported projects and 24.2% of the number of jobs, total 66.8% of all reported investments.
