Tunisia: SOMOCER improves its revenues by 7% at end September

SOMOCER has managed to maintain the same upward trend in its sales recorded since the beginning of the year, posting a growth of 7.3%, boosted by the good achievements on the export market.

Thus, the cumulative turnover amounted to 71.5 million dinars, as of September 30, 2022, against 66.6 million during the same period in 2021.

SOMOCER has stabilized its turnover on the local market (-0.16%) with sales that have reached 60.7 million dinars, against 60.8 million as of September 30, 2021.

On the export market, the company SOMOCER has confirmed the remarkable performance recorded on export sales, posting a rise of 86.4% to amount to 10.7 million dinars exceeding the export sales of the whole year 2021 which amounted to 10.2 million dinars.

As for production (in value), it stood at 72 million dinars, at the end of September, against 69 million a year earlier, up 4.5%.

In addition, tangible and intangible investments amounted to 2.1 million dinars, against 3.1 million at the end of September.

Bank commitments (balance sheet commitments) stood at 76.8 million dinars, compared to a total of 80.1 million dinars in the same period of 2021, down 4.1%.

Long- and medium-term debts represent 36.8% of the total balance sheet commitments as of September 30, 2022.
