Société Tunisienne d’Entreprises de Télécommunications -SOTETEL- has published its interim financial statements for the six months ended June 30, 2024.
These accounts show a net profit of 1.6 million dinars compared with 0.5 million dinars in the first half of last year, an increase of 227%.
At the end of the first six months of the current year, the company’s revenues increased by 34% to 35.3 million dinars, compared to 26.3 million dinars last year.
Operating expenses picked up by 29% from 26 million dinars to 33.5 million dinars.
As a result, operating profit for the period soared by 162% to 2.3 million dinars, compared with 0.8 million dinars at the end of June 2023.
