Strikes in the private sector went down by 33% and the number of working days lost has decreased, in turn, 48%, Ahmed Ammar Youmbai, Minister of Social Affairs told ExpressFM on Tuesday.
In contrast, strikes in the public sector soared 400%, which is worrying given the government’s commitment, he said.
The minister added that the “4+4” commission is committed to implementing all agreements signed by the post-revolutionary governments, noting that each minister is called to refer to the presidency of the government to assess the financial impact of the agreements reached.
