Tunisia: thirty Tunisian operators to visit Oran ahead of MG 2012

Thirty Tunisian business operators will visit Oran from next February 16 to meet their Algerian counterparts operating in public works and other related segments such as studies, engineering, architecture, town planning and real estate and furniture, as part of preparations for the 2021 Mediterranean Games.

The Tunisian delegation will learn about programmes in progress in Oran as part of the city’s preparations for the 2021 Games, the Algerian press agency (APS) reported.

A presentation session for the Tunisian business operators will be held on February 17 at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Oran (CCIO).

“The session will be held concurrently with Tunisian-Algerian business meetings dedicated, in particular, to the sectors of building, public and water works,” head of the animation department at CCIO Farid Ould-Ali was quoted as saying by APS.

The Tunisian delegation will be led by Riadh Bezzarga, head of the commercial mission at the Tunisian embassy in Algiers (Tunisia Export Algiers), the same source said.

“Tunisian companies want to “share Algeria’s feast by contributing to the implementation of projects launched ahead of the 2021 Mediterranean Games scheduled in Oran,” the Tunisian official said, pointing to the Tunisian experience in this field, knowing that the capital Tunis experienced the dynamics of large construction sites when hosting the 2001 Mediterranean Games.”
