A 24.3% decrease of was recorded in Djerba-Zarzis hotels for the period from July 11 to 20, 2013, compared with the same period of 2012.
According to data published by the Regional Tourism Commission in Djerba, about 3.2 million tourists entered the Tunisian territory during that period, down 2.7% compared to the same period of last year, i.e. 3.3 million.
However, there has been no cancellation of bookings despite the tense political climate in the country.
