The Union Internationale de Banques (UIB) reported a net profit of 81.4 million dinars, as of December 31, 2021 against 61.6 million a year earlier, a growth of 32%. This increase is derived from the 10% increase in net banking income, which amounted to 442.8 million dinars.
This emerged from its financial statements for that period as they will be submitted for approval at the ordinary general meeting to be held on April 29, 2022.
The bank has seen its allocations to provisions on receivables fall by 34% from 70 million dinars in 2020 to 46 million at the end of December 2021.
On the other hand, personnel expenses have increased significantly by 23% to 176.2 million dinars, compared to 143.4 million a year earlier.
As a result, operating income rose by 23% to 159 million dinars, compared with 129.5 million in 2020.
