According to data released Tuesday by the Department of Transportation, vessel traffic in the port of Rades posted an increase of 14% during the first half of 2013, compared to the same period last year, while container traffic stagnated during that period.
Freight traffic on board containers was up 3% in the first six months of 2013 compared to the same period of 2012.
Trailer traffic grew 3% in the first half of 2013, compared to the same period of 2012 and 6% in comparison with 2011.
