Tunisia: volume of trade with Italy stands at EUR 5 billion

The total volume of trade between Tunisia and Italy amounted to more than EUR 5 billion in 2015, announced Mourad Fradi, President of the Tunisian-Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CTICI).

Speaking on Express Fm on Tuesday, May 10, 2016, he said there are hundreds of joint projects in Tunisia, the majority of which operates in the textile, mechanical and electronics industry. “800 Italian companies operate in Tunisia and offer more than 60 thousand jobs,” he noted.

Fradi stressed the need to establish a communication unit within the Prime Ministry to improve the image of Tunisia abroad.
