With 166 votes in favour and 22 against, the Angolan parliament Tuesday passed the State Budget for 2011, PANA reported quoting the Angolan News Agency (ANGOP).
According to the budget, incomes and expenditures are estimated at over four billion Kwanzas.
It shows that at least 886.0 billion Kwanzas are designed for the Public Investments Programme while defence, security and public order, as well as the economy and governance will take the bulk of the expenditures.
The social sector, especially education, will gulp 31.5 per cent of the budget, an increase of one percent over the figure for 2010.
