A meeting took place Wednesday, September 5, 2012, at the headquarters of the management of Petrofac in Tunis between the new management of the company and unions, said a press statement.
During this meeting, a constructive dialogue was established between the two parties who reached an agreement. In view of this agreement, the strike to be held on 9 and 10 September with a threat to production was finally canceled.
General management and unions have also agreed to establish a committee and hold regular meetings for further consultation between the two parties. The objective is to take, in full consultation, important steps that affect the smooth running of the company.
