An integrated industrial complex composed of three companies was created in the delegation of El Hamma, Gabes governorate with a total amount of 20 million dinars.
They are a quarrying company, a lime production company and a feed supplements production company (lime phosphates).
The industrial complex, whose annual production capacity of lime phosphates amounts to 100,000 tons, is expected to generate about 200 job positions, one of the investors in this project told TAP news agency.
Production of lime phosphates will be for export, he added.
According to the investor, the project will be followed by the creation of other industrial units specialized in the production of feed supplements and lime as well as in the production of products derived from lime phosphates.
He emphasized the urgent need to supply the complex with phosphoric to begin the production process as soon as possible.
