An Italian leather and footwear plant, located in the industrial area of Northern Beja, will enter into production next May 7.
The project was presented at a working session held at the governorate, in the presence of the Italian investor and a delegation of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency.
This plant has recruited, in a first step, 70 workers, trained at the Higher Institute of Technological Studies (ISET) in Beja. It is expected to hire, in a next step, 2,000 workers, said the local governor.
