NEW BODY LINE’s production of parts fell by 21.5% in the first quarter of the current year, with a total volume of 89,510 parts produced and sold, compared with 113,977 parts in the same period last year.
As a result, the company’s turnover decreased by 27% to 1.2 million dinars, compared to 1.7 million dinars at the end of March 2023.
In terms of commercial activity, the company pointed out that with a rather mild winter in Europe, its customers did not make good sales last season and tried to postpone new orders.
Similarly, with the international economic situation still unstable at the beginning of 2024 and purchasing power in Europe not improving, New Body Line’s customers are still finding it difficult to sell and are placing orders later and more cautiously.
At the same time, the company has zero debt and a large cash surplus, generating substantial investment income.
