The first signs of an improvement in the production of phosphate are beginning to emerge while the quantities extracted during the months of April and May 2018 reached 747 thousand tons compared with 709 MT in 2017 and 641 MT in 2016.
Production in May posted a significant increase of 16% compared to 2017, which augurs for a recovery in growth and an improvement in the trade balance, it is estimated.
