The Poulina Group said it has achieved a turnover of 976 million dinars at the end of the first quarter of the current year, up 7% compared to the achievements of the same quarter of 2022.
By business line, the FOOD industry grew by 40 million dinars, or 10%, to reach 442.7 million dinars. This growth was driven by a 22% increase in export sales and a 9% increase in local sales.
Poultry integration posted a rise of 35 million dinars or 17% to 244.5 million dinars. This increase was mainly due to a 19% growth in export sales and a 17% increase in local sales.
Production went up by 6% during the quarter to a value of 991 million dinars.
Investments in the first quarter of 2023 reached 18.9 million dinars, compared to 29.8 million dinars in the same period of 2022.
In addition, the group’s outstanding bank debt fell from 1,260 million dinars at December 31, 2022 to 1,160 million dinars at the end of March, a decrease of 100 million dinars.
