The Société des Industries Pharmaceutiques de Tunisie (SIPHAT) has just published its business indicators for the last quarter of 2002. These indicators show an 8% fall in annual turnover to TND 9.5 million.
This decline is mainly due to a 35% drop in hospital sales, from TND 9 million in December 2022 to TND 5.9 million in December 2023.
In contrast, sales of the officinal form increased by 165% to TND 3.2 million, compared to TND 1.2 million in 2022.
Production also fell by 14.8% to 7.5 million dinars, compared with TND 8.9 million at the end of December 2022.
In addition, the public company’s debt increased by 19.7% compared to the end of 2022, reaching TND 108.2 million.
