SOMOCER’s quarterly indicator figures for the fiscal year 2023 showed a cumulative turnover of TND 85.7 million, down 14.7% compared to the fiscal year 2022.
Production at the group’s factories also fell by 11.8%. On the other hand, SOMOCER’s bank liabilities stood at TND 75.43 million.
The company’s press release does not use the word debt. But these commitments, which are receivables, represent more than 80% of sales.
“Bank liabilities: (balance sheet liabilities) at December 31, 2023 recorded an increase of 3.46% and stood at TND 75,429 million against a total of TND 72,903 million at December 31, 2022.
Long- and medium-term debt represents (33.66%) of total balance sheet liabilities at December 31, 2023,” the press release stresses, without further explanation.
