The revenues achieved by the company SMART Tunisia in 2022 amounted to 330 million dinars, against 285 million in 2021, thus recording an increase of 16%.
On the other hand, the purchase cost of goods sold grew at the same rate as that of revenues, i.e. 16%, to 281.2 million dinars, from 242.5 at the end of December 2021.
Consequently, the gross margin rose by 14% to 49 million dinars, compared with 42.8 million in 2021, representing a gross margin rate of 14.8%.
The financial expenses borne by the company in 2022 amount to 16.2 million dinars, against 7.5 million in 2021.
This increase is mainly due to an increase in the volume of purchases and average inventory during the year 2022, which was accentuated by the increase in the MMR and the depreciation of the Dinar.
As for the financial income recorded at the end of December 2022, it amounts to 3.6 million dinars, up 58% compared to 2021.
