Tunisia: UNIMED sees strong increase in H1 revenues to over TND 60 million

UNIMED’s sales at June 30, 2023 were 61.2 million dinars, 44% higher than at the same date in 2022.

This sales performance was achieved thanks to higher sales to the hospital market, strong growth in exports, which increased by 14% to 28.3 million dinars, and an 11% rise in sales to pharmacies.

Unit production (ampoules, vials, syringes, bags) reached 97 million units in the first half of 2023, an increase of 28% compared to the same period in 2022.

Capital expenditure (intangible and tangible) amounted to nearly 8 million dinars in the first half of 2023, in line with the company’s expansion investment plan.

Long-term debt stood at to 25.6 million dinars at the end of the first half.

Short-term debt amounted to 17.7 million dinars, consisting of 7.5 million dinars of bank loans due within one year, 0.2 million dinars of leasing loans and 10 million dinars of working capital loans.
