“Tunisia is now the champion of Africa in terms of tax pressure,” according to chartered accountant Anis Wahabi.
In a statement on Shems FM, he added that “the inflation rate is expected to rise again in 2022, leading to an additional increase in prices.”
He also expressed surprise that the finance law and the state budget of 2022 are not yet ready. “While we are a week away from the end of the year, we only have the leaked data for the moment.”
