The company “Les Ciments de Bizerte” has published its financial statements as of December 31, 2021.
These statements show a net loss of 6.1 million dinars, against a net loss of 0.4 million in 2020.
This underperformance is mainly due to the increase in the cost of sales by 32% to 112.8 million dinars, compared to 85.3 million at the end of December 2020.
However, the company saw its revenues rise by 12.7% to 125.2 million dinars.
These revenues come from local sales for 104.9 million dinars and export sales for 20.3 million dinars.
Consequently, the gross margin is down 52% to 12.4 million dinars, against 25.7 million in 2020.
As for the operating income, it shows a drop of 85% to 2.1 million dinars, against 13.6 million a year earlier.
In addition, financial expenses have recorded a sharp decline last year from 14.5 million dinars to 10 million between December 2020 and December 2021, down 31%.
