Tunisia takes part in ABAV International Tourism Expo

Tunisia and Morocco will have stands at the 47th ABAV International Tourism Expo, which is being held from 25 to 27 September in São Paulo (Brazil).

The stand EC123, in the show’s collaborative space, will comprise Tunisia’s National Tourist Office and four travel agencies.

A diplomat at the Tunisian embassy in Brasilia told ANBA, the Arab-Brazilian news agency, the goal is to advertise Tunisia as a travel destination and spread information about the North African country, as well as to connect with Brazilian travel agencies. “We got 2,200 Brazilian tourists in 2018, and our goal is to see 5,000 in 2020 and as many as 10,000 in 2022,” he said.

ABAV Expo 2019 is themed Transforms – Tourism for new challenges. The event is organized by the Brazilian Travel Agencies Association (ABAV).
