At the end of the first half of the current year, SOTETEL continued its dynamic growth, driven in particular by an adapted commercial strategy, which resulted in an increase in turnover by 17.5% (+4 million dinars).
The company’s turnover stood at 26.8 million dinars, at the end of June, of which 25.3 million dinars were generated by sales, works and services on the local market (+14.4%).
Exports picked up by 228%, from 308,000 dinars to 1 million dinars, more than the export turnover for the whole of 2022.
By activity, the local turnover of the Tunisie Télécom subsidiary can be broken down into Access Network (11.3 million dinars), Convergent Service (10.5 million dinars), Core & Wireless (3.3 million dinars) and Training (184.5 million dinars).
Operating expenses amounted to 25.9 million dinars at June 30, 2023, compared to 21.8 million dinars in the first half of 2022, up 19%, including 14.5 million dinars in purchases and 7.9 million dinars in personnel costs.
As a result, the company closed the first half of the year with a net profit of 502 thousand dinars, compared to a profit of 627 thousand dinars a year earlier.
